As a Software Development Intern You Will:

• Work remotely and closely with our software and quantitative developers to translate prototypes into production-ready software
• Evaluate the performance of proposed ideas, utilizing historical and live data to test against statistically significant data sets
• Provide training and guidance for analysts on how to use new features and apply the quantitative research from our findings
• Implement our existing trading strategies and propose improvements to our tools and trading; taking the higher-level concepts and using them with low-level code for actual execution
• Create internal and external tools to utilize the ideas and market simulations that the Quantitative Team have developed
• Communicate solutions effectively via documentation
• Be open to ad hoc projects

What We Look For:

• Currently enrolled in an MS or BS program
• Strong interest in the field of computer science, finance
• Candidates must have a proven academic record (minimum GPA of 3.2/4.0)
• Have the ability to work within a team and on a self-directed basis
• Superior quantitative and logical reasoning skills
• 2+ years of experience with computer programming languages with a heavy emphasis on Python and C++/Java/C#
• Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills
• Extraordinary work ethic
